I made these tomahawks for my brothers over the winter, the white background on the photo is actually snow.  These are first attempts, they came out well, but were A LOT of work——so it may be a while before I attempt something similar.

Specifications:  Both hawks were crafted from 1045 steel.  The larger hawk head weighs in at about 1.25 lbs and has about an 17-18″ hickory handle (if I remember correctly).  The smaller hawk head was about 1 lbs and had about a 14″ inch hickory handle.
